About
Migraine and recurring headaches affect up to 39 million Americans and impact 3.1 billion people globally. Migraine is not “just a headache” – it is a neurologic condition that can include cognitive, motor, sensory and other symptoms. Headache disorders are the third leading cause of disability worldwide and affect people’s jobs, family life and quality of life, and may be triggered to set off more frequently in the summertime by warmer weather, dehydration, longer daylight, lighter barometric pressures, or sudden changes in humidity. Come learn more about this debilitating disorder with one of UCSF’s migraine experts.
